Naomi didn't think so. The looks people were giving her seemed more curious and amused than anything else.
A thought occurred to her, and she pulled out her phone to check the campus forum.
Patricia leaned over to look and immediately started cursing. "Seriously? Is this guy sick in the head? What's he trying to pull?"
She hated it when people aired their private business on the forum, and Naomi was even more sensitive about it.
By doing this, the guy was essentially putting Naomi on public display.
Especially since Naomi had just become infamous on the forum because of Zebulon. Now, to be pursued so publicly again... even if some people found it charming, anonymous forums were full of all sorts of creeps. By pushing Naomi into the spotlight, who knew what would happen next.
"What’s with all the attention-seeking? Did they really have to put on that embarrassing show?"
Patricia contacted the forum administrator to ask them to delete the post.
The admin replied that the post didn't violate any forum rules and would not be taken down.
"What the hell! This admin must love gossip. How is this not a violation? Why does he get to be anonymous while using your full name?"
"What a freak!"
Patricia was so angry her stomach started to hurt. Naomi quickly took her to the campus clinic to get some medicine.
"It's okay, don't worry about it. A post like that is obviously just for clicks. As long as we ignore it, it'll die down."
He couldn't create drama all by himself. Eventually, he'd be the only one left looking like a fool.
"You're just too nice," Patricia said, clutching her stomach. "If it were me, I'd find out who it is and sue them for defamation."
Naomi was, after all, from a wealthy family, but her way of handling things was too soft.
She always tried to be gracious, believing in not burning bridges, but she didn't realize that's exactly why people felt they could walk all over her.
"Okay, stop worrying about me. Why does your stomach hurt all of a sudden?"
Patricia always claimed to be strong, so her sudden stomach issue was making Naomi a little frantic.
