With that, Lennon hung up.
Patricia glanced at her phone, feeling a little strange.
Wasn't Lennon the owner of the studio? Did he really need to call an employee back to work himself?
What boss calls an employee’s classmate just because she didn’t pick up? That’s… not even in a boss’s job description.
Even a possessive husband checking up on his wife wouldn't make such a scene!
Patricia's eyes darted around as she felt she was onto something big.
She wanted to share her discovery with Naomi, but then she remembered Naomi had just gotten over the whole Zebulon situation. What if Lennon didn't feel that way, and her words made Naomi develop a huge crush, only to get hurt again?
“Forget it, I’ll let them figure it out themselves. Who am I to meddle in their affairs?”
Patricia quickly went to wash her hands, thinking it would be good if Lennon showed up later. If Naomi felt uncomfortable, she could just leave with him.
Her friendship with Naomi means a lot to her. As much as she wanted to hang out with Luther, she would never do anything to hurt her friend.
When Patricia came back out with clean hands, she saw two handsome guys already standing near Naomi.
The distance between the three of them was vast, a clear line drawn between the introvert and the extroverts.
Even from afar, Patricia could feel her awkwardness and hurried over.
“Sorry, you’re here already? I was in the restroom and didn't see. Why didn't you text me?”
Patricia linked arms with Naomi and greeted Luther and Nelson.
Nelson’s gaze was fixed on Naomi. He had wanted to approach her, but seeing how quiet she’d been, he decided against being too forward.
“We just got here too.”
