Realizing the uncomfortable silence, Gwen piped up to defuse the situation. "Bethan, it's your go," she said.

Bethan wasn't feeling up to it. "Yvonne, you take my turn," she replied.

Yvonne, seeing this, strolled over to the coffee table and spun the bottle instead of Bethan.

The bottle's neck pointed straight at Tristen.

Yvonne grinned at Tristen. "Hey, Tristen! I heard you've been blowing off the blind dates your family set up. You got a crush on someone or what?"

Tristen stole a quick look at Bethan and said softly, "You're spot on. There's someone in my heart."

The room erupted in cheers at his words.

Bethan's heart skipped a beat. She was scared stiff that Tristen might say something too forward.

Meanwhile, Hugh's deep-set eyes were fixed on Bethan, watching her every reaction.

Noticing Bethan's nervous and guilty look, Hugh felt his heart in a complete jumble.

Taking the chance, Mason prodded, "Mr. Dixon, you've been so quiet about this. Which heiress is she? Do I know her?"

Tristen responded, "Mr. Martin, stop joking. She's amazing, and I'm crazy about her. I'm still trying to win her over."

The room filled with excited whoops again.

Bethan let out a silent sigh of relief. Thankfully, he didn't put her on the spot in public.

Hugh saw Bethan's tense body relax and quietly shifted his gaze.

Then, as the others reminded him, Tristen spun the bottle, and it stopped with the neck facing Hugh.

This really livened things up.

Mason said to Tristen, "Mr. Dixon, let me ask the question for you."

Yvonne also jumped in. "Tristen, I've got a question for Mr. Cavill. Let me ask."

Another guy pushed forward. "Mr. Dixon, how about I ask for you?"

Seeing everyone's over-excited faces, Bethan clasped her hands tightly in front of her, looking very meek.

These were all mutual friends of hers and Hugh, so the questions were bound to be about her.

However, Tristen smiled and said, "I've finally got this chance. I've got a question for Mr. Cavill, too."

Hugh sat calmly beside Bethan and met Tristen's eyes. "Please," he said.

Staring into Hugh's eyes, Tristen asked, "Mr. Cavill, you got someone you love?"
