"Yeah, Mrs. Yale, go ahead and hop on. Demi went through a lot to negotiate with these wild beasts," Maria half-jokingly said as she pulled Wendy toward the lion.
"Ah, she did twist her ankle earlier. She said it was a little sore but not too bad, so she didn't mention it. Thanks, Demi," Nigel said, his expression filled with gratitude as he looked at Demi.
Nigel had been worried about Wendy's condition, unsure how serious her injury was. Even though she said she was fine, he was afraid she was just pushing through.
"It's nothing. This is just a small favor," Demi said with a smile.
With that, she rushed over and, along with Maria, helped Wendy onto the lion's back.
Then, the two of them helped Caitlin onto the lion.
"Look at Daniel and Thomas's expressions. They think Demi called the other lion for Ana."
"No way! Demi's attitude is so obvious. How could they be that clueless? She practically announced to the world that she's got beef with the Pitt family."
"Anyone in a normal situation would set aside past grudges, but Demi's made it clear she's not letting it go."
"I wouldn't either! A grudge is a grudge. I'm not a saint!"
"Alright, let's go," Demi said, giving a command. The three beasts began walking slowly ahead.
Wendy and Caitlin were nervous at first, but slowly, their excitement and joy took over.
"Who would've thought twisting my ankle would lead to this kind of surprise," Wendy said, laughing.
"I didn't expect this either. If I'd known, I would've twisted my ankle sooner!" Caitlin said, equally excited.
"We never saw this kind of surprise coming!"
"I want to say I'm really jealous!"
"I just twisted my ankle, but instead of riding a lion, I'm stuck with an electric scooter."
"I'm joining the fan group to go on 'I Love Nature.' Is it too late?"
"Great idea, I'll join too!"
"I want to join the fan group too!"
