A Second Life, A New Power novel Chapter 319

Dylan had a shocked expression, but even more shocked were Stephen and Ana!

"Mr. Pitt, I can't help you with this! Please seek someone more capable!" Dylan placed the phone on the coffee table, wiped the blood from his mouth, and got up to leave.

"Dylan, what happened? Please give me at least a hint before you go!" Stephen quickly stood up and chased after him.

"Please seek someone more capable!" Dylan waved his hand and walked away quickly.

Ana hesitated for a moment before following them out.

Stephen chased Dylan all the way to the company entrance, but he couldn't get any more information out of him.

As he watched Dylan get into his car and leave, Stephen turned around and saw Ana behind him. His brows furrowed slightly.

"Go back first. You heard what Dylan said, so carefully follow through," Stephen said in a deep voice.

"I understand, Dad," Ana answered obediently.

Stephen returned to his office and saw the blood-stained phone on the coffee table, which made him feel an increasing sense of irritation and unease.

What exactly happened? Why did Dylan suddenly cough up blood? And why did he leave in such a panic?

Dylan said they had caused someone's death. What did he mean?

Stephen picked up the phone, wiped it clean with a tissue, and turned it on. Then, he immediately saw Demi's expressionless face on the screen.

His unease grew even stronger.

Dylan had coughed up blood while looking at Demi's photo—could this all be related to Demi?

But they hadn't killed Demi!

Immediately after that, Stephen transferred a million dollars to Dylan. Unexpectedly, before he could even put the phone down, Dylan refunded the money.

Stephen was speechless.

The next moment, Dylan sent him a message on WhatsApp. "I couldn't help this time, so I won't accept payment."

Stephen quickly replied, "Dylan, what exactly happened? Why did you cough up blood? What should I do?"

However, no matter how long Stephen waited, Dylan didn't respond, leaving him in constant suspense.
