"What's up, Charles? It's so early, and I'm still sleeping."

"Is someone picking a fight with us?"

"The sun's high up in the sky now, so why are you still sleeping? It's Demi's birthday today, so celebrate it with me," Charles said in a commanding tone while putting on his shirt.

"It's Demi's birthday today, huh? Why didn't she say anything when we left school on Friday? Is she shy?"

Because of Charles, his friends were quite close to Demi as well. Upon hearing their question, he told them what Maria had said.

"Oh, I get it now…"

"So, what are we doing now?"

"Well, we'll have to get a gift for sure!"

"Why don't we call a few ladies as well? After all, won't it be too boring if it's just some guys?"

Charles: "Yes, do it. Call some of your close female classmates."

After putting on his shirt, Charles entered the bathroom with his phone. As he hurriedly brushed his teeth, he suddenly thought of an important question. "What kind of gift should we get?"

"Some kind of lipstick or perfume, I guess."

"Well, we can't all give the same thing, right?"

With that, they started talking about what to buy for Demi. In the meantime, Charles finished washing up and swiftly left the house.

"Oh, by the way, don't give anything that might lead to a misunderstanding!" he reminded.

"What do you mean by misunderstanding?" No one knew what he meant.

"I'm talking about the gifts that might make someone think you have a crush on her," Charles explained.
