"Happy birthday to… Demi?" Harold got closer to the banner and read the text on it.
"Is it really Demi?" Daniel got closer as well with a frown. Then, he realized it really was Demi's name on the banner.
"Right! It's Demi's birthday too," Harold said with a frown.
"How did I forget about it? Should we call her here?" Michelle frowned in regret.
Daniel wanted to say that he already told Thomas to try, but he didn't do it in the end.
"Why did she choose to celebrate her birthday in front of Ana's party? Is she planning to compete with Ana?" Harold remarked, feeling a little upset.
"That's enough! She can celebrate it wherever she wants! It's not like this hotel belongs to you anyway!" Daniel said solemnly. After that, he pulled Michelle's hand and entered their hall. He was worried about getting in a fight with Demi on a great day like today.
Meanwhile, Harold just followed them in with a long face.
…
Shortly after they entered the hall, Maria showed up on the 16th floor, grabbing Demi's arm. George and Chad were with them, too.
At first, Demi only planned on following Maria quietly. However, she suddenly saw a banner with Ana's face on the side. Then, she wondered if Ana's birthday party was also there.
"Oh! Is Ana celebrating her birthday here as well? I didn't know that!" Maria put on an innocent act.
"Are you guys celebrating my birthday?" Demi asked as she saw her own banner. Although she had a feeling what was going on, she was still surprised to see it.
