A Second Life, A New Power novel Chapter 179

"I have some form of cooperation with the Pitts. Daniel contacted me and asked me to help inquire. I'm not asking for him. I'm also quite curious myself," Felix's friend explained.

"The Pitts have offended me." Felix's expression turned cold. "I called you all here to discuss this. If any of you have dealings with the Pitts, finish up any ongoing collaborations and don't continue after that."

"The Pitts offended you? What happened?"

"The Pitts really don't know who to mess with! Why mess with Felix?"

"Since Felix said to stop collaborating, then let's just stop. There's no need to wait for the current collaboration to end. We can stop right now."

"Are you afraid we'd suffer losses, Felix? We can afford to cover those little bits of losses!"

Everyone quickly agreed one after another.

Felix took a sip of his drink and said casually, "Okay. It's fine to take it slow. I'll give them a chance to repent and apologize!"

"Felix, when did you become so merciful? You're even giving them a chance to apologize!"

"So, how did they offend you?"

"Tell us so that we know to what extent to deal with the Pitts in the future."

"They hurt someone very important to me," Felix said.

"Who? Who is it?" the group asked, full of curiosity.

Whoever mattered enough to Felix had to be either rich or noble, but yet they could get hurt by the Pitts?

"That's a secret for now," Felix said slowly before he continued drinking.

Meanwhile, at the Pitt residence, the atmosphere at the Pitts' dinner table was a bit subdued.

Due to Harrington Group halting their cooperation, the Pitts and Pitt Group were in a bit of a mess.

Daniel had asked all the management of the company, but he couldn't find who had offended Harrington Group.

Stephen had also asked the board members but still found no answers.

"Daniel, tomorrow you and I should visit the Harrington Group ourselves. We need to get to the bottom of what happened," Stephen said slowly after taking a sip of warm water.

Daniel nodded. "Okay."
