A Second Life, A New Power novel Chapter 176

"It's fine now." Felix couldn't help but smile. "Let me show you."

He pointed the camera at his leg, then took a few steps and even stomped his foot a couple of times.

"What? It's really healed! That fast?" Seamus asked with astonishment.

"Yeah. I find it hard to believe too," Felix admitted.

"Wait right there. I'm coming over to see for myself," Seamus said before hurriedly ending the call. It was clear he was impatient to check on Felix's leg.

Felix was in a good mood and stretched lazily. Then, his gaze flickered slightly as he suddenly remembered something.

He opened a group chat named "It's Really Not An Act" and sent a voice message.

"Anyone free tonight? Let's find a place to hang out."

This group was filled with Felix's friends, some of whom he had known since childhood. In short, they were all either rich or influential.

The chat immediately erupted with excitement.

"The sun must be rising from the west! Mr. Harrington actually showed up!"

"Felix, you never join our gatherings. What happened today? Did something shake you up?"

"I'm free! If Felix asks, I'd fly back even if I were in Afrysia!"

"I'll notify the guys in the group now!"

"I'll book the venue!"

Felix simply replied, "Let me know once it's booked."

An hour later, Seamus rushed over.

Benedict's condition had stabilized, but he still hadn't been discharged from the military hospital and remained under observation there. Naturally, Seamus stayed by his side.

Seamus examined Felix's leg with an expression full of disbelief.

"This is simply a miracle!" Seamus exclaimed.

"I, too, think it's quite amazing," Felix said with a smile.

He added, "Right now, Ms. Demi is staying in the villa next door to mine. How about arranging for Mr. West Senior to stay here as well? It seems safer. What do you think?"

"That's not up to me. Several of Mr. West Senior's children have come to visit him one after another, and they all refused to let him be discharged. Mr. West Senior himself wants to leave—he finds the hospital to be stuffy," Seamus explained.

At the end of the day, Seamus was just a doctor, and Benedict's family had to make the final decisions. If anything happened to him, Seamus wouldn't be able to bear the responsibility.

Felix thought about it before saying, "I'll check with Ms. Demi first. If she agrees, I'll make the arrangements with Mr. Wilson and the others."

"Sounds good. Ultimately, it depends on Demi's assessment," Seamus said, nodding.

After that, Felix immediately picked up his phone and sent Demi a message. "Are classes over?"

Demi replied, "I'll call you in ten minutes."

True enough, Demi called Felix ten minutes later.
