Who’s the Dog Now? novel Chapter 246

Naomi didn't answer.

She had no idea what to say.

After all, as she thought back, she realized that since getting closer to Lennon, she had indeed done many things she never thought she would do.

And what was even more surprising was that doing those things had made her incredibly happy.

As a result, whenever she reminisced, all her memories involving Lennon were pleasant ones.

Memories she cherished.

“What does that mean?”

Naomi couldn't help but murmur.

An answer was on the verge of surfacing in her heart, but Naomi didn't dare think too deeply about it.

“Silly girl, it means—”

Naomi clamped a hand over Patricia's mouth.

“Don't say it!”

“It's impossible!”

After blurting this out, Naomi pushed Patricia toward her desk. “I need to start my paper. You should get to yours, too, or you won't be able to go on your trip for the holiday weekend.”

“Get to it!”

With that, Naomi put on her headphones, opened her laptop, and adopted a clear 'Do not Disturb' posture.

Patricia crossed her arms, staring at Naomi's back for a long moment before finally chuckling and sitting back down. “Alright, if you don't want to talk about it, we won't.”

“As long as it's not Zebulon, I'm fine with it.”

“Besides...”

Patricia smiled knowingly.

For Naomi to get this flustered, there might actually be something real between her and Lennon.

After all, even when Naomi was head over heels for Zebulon, she'd never been this bashful.
