The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 594

Lilly glanced at the rich guy gripping her wrist, trying to pull away. “I’m just a waitress. I bring drinks, that’s it. I don’t drink with customers. Please let go of me.”

Lucas just tightened his hold. If anything, her resistance only made him more interested. “Come on, pretty girl, you’re here to make money, right? Have a couple drinks with us. I’ll make it worth your while.”

Lilly shook her head. “I don’t want your money.”

Lucas snapped his fingers, and one of his guys walked in holding a suitcase.

He popped it open, showing off stacks of crisp bills. Lucas picked up a chunk of cash. “Look, that’s ten thousand. Just have a drink with me.”

Lilly’s voice was steady. “No. I don’t want it.”

He just grinned, not taking her seriously. “Alright, I’ll go higher. Fifty thousand. One drink.”

“I said no.”

A guy called Leo let out a low laugh, eyes never leaving her. “Are you playing hard to get? You’re good at it. You definitely caught my eye.”

The people around them started hyping it up, their voices loud and teasing. “Girl, so many would love to have a drink with Leo. Don’t be stubborn. You’ll regret missing this chance.”

“Seriously, Leo has never paid this much attention to anyone before. You must be special.”

Lilian sat back on the couch, watching the whole thing with a little smile. She turned to Jace beside her. “Looks like Leo is about to make a new friend, huh?”

Jace lounged deeper into the sofa, swirling the deep red wine in his glass. His gaze was cold, fixed on Leo and Lilly.

Lilian noticed the change in him. Usually, Jace was impossible to read. Even after they’d started dating, she still felt like he was a mystery. He always kept his distance. But now, watching Leo and Lilly, his mood had gone icy.
