Miracle Cutie (Amelia and Benjamin) novel Chapter 476

Chapter 476 Let Me Check Later

Benjamin propped himself up on an elbow. He first adjusted Amelia’s loosely fastened pajamas, then got up to answer the door.

Outside, Nina had been knocking for a while.

“Mommy! Mommy!

“Open! Nina here!”

Nina kept calling for Amelia at the door. She had slept with Catherine last night, not with Amelia. She missed her.

Hearing the noise, Daniel came over and tried to pick her up and take her away. But Nina wouldn’t go.

“Want Mommy,” she insisted. “Mommy, open!”

Unable to move her, Daniel stayed by the door to wait with her.

A moment later, the door finally opened. Benjamin, still in his pajamas, bent down to pick Nina up.

But she ran right past him into the room. She was going to find Amelia.

“Sweetie, slow down!” Daniel called from the doorway, watching her run.

He then looked at Benjamin. “Benjamin, you watch her. I’m going to get breakfast. I’m starving.”

Daniel handed Nina off to Benjamin and headed to the dining room.

Benjamin closed the door and walked back inside. He saw Nina had already burrowed into Amelia’s arms.

Nina giggled, snuggling against Amelia. The noise woke Amelia, though she wasn’t fully alert yet.

“Hey, sweetie, you’re back,” Amelia murmured, half-asleep. She kissed the top of Nina’s head. “Did you sleep well last night? Did you miss me?”

“Yeah!” Nina said.

Somehow, her chubby little hand found its way under Amelia’s top again. As she declared her miss, she touched Amelia’s breast.

“Ah-” Amelia didn’t let her touch her for long. She gently moved the little hand away. “Sweetie, don’t touch Mommy there. It hurts a little.”

Hearing Amelia was in pain, Nina’s eyes went wide. “Nina look?” she asked, wanting to see.

Amelia naturally couldn’t let her. The soreness was Benjamin’s doing.

Amelia, who adored Benjamin, sometimes secretly cursed him for this.

He was perfect in so many ways, but when it came to sex, he had no concept of moderation or restraint!

Chapter 476 Let Me Check Later

Finished

Behind that cool, composed exterior was a man who loved to indulge himself with her. A little too much.

Amelia distracted Nina with other games. As she soothed her, she glanced at Benjamin as he walked over, pressing her lips together in clear displeasure.

Sensing her mood, Benjamin came over and spoke softly. “Still sore?” he asked. “Let me check later.”

The fact that he wanted to “check” too made Amelia-who’d just escaped Nina’s “look”-kick him when Nina wasn’t looking.

Benjamin took the kick and even grabbed her ankle, holding it for a moment.

Amelia was too exasperated to deal with him. She went back to playing with Nina and mentioned going home.

“We’re going back to Grandpa and Daddy’s house. We can play with Lucien and Barry there. They really miss you. Do you miss them?”

Amelia mentioned Lucien and Barry. Nina nodded; she hadn’t forgotten them.

“We play,” she said, already wanting to go find her friends.

Amelia smiled. “Don’t be in such a hurry,” she said.

While Amelia chatted with Nina, Benjamin gathered their clothes. Nina was still in her little pajamas.

Benjamin changed her, then let her stay with Amelia.

Worried Nina might be hungry, Amelia didn’t stay in bed much longer either. Soon, they were all having breakfast together.

Nina saw the bread and milk on the table and suddenly remembered the man from yesterday.

“Daddy, find baby?” she asked Benjamin, her little voice serious. “Baby gone. Uncle sad.”

Nina had been the one taken by that man, effectively a victim. But thinking about how he’d lost his child, she touched her own chest.

“Nina sad,” she stated, meaning she felt sad too.

Nina loved Amelia and Benjamin. Seeing another dad lose his baby and become like that had upset her.

She wanted that man to find his baby, just like Benjamin had found her.

Nina spoke earnestly about the man. After listening, Benjamin was silent for a moment. Then he replied, “Okay. Daddy will help him find his baby.

Nina trusted Benjamin’s word completely. In her eyes, Benjamin was the best, the strongest!
