Fabian froze. "Rosalind, is it... is it serious?"
Rosalind withdrew her hand. "Relax, make sure you get enough sleep and watch your diet, and go to a hospital for a check-up. It needs to be treated."
Fabian had asked Rosalind for this favor, hoping she would do it for him, only to find out that he was the one who needed medical attention most.
Rosalind stood there, striking and beautiful. She had changed into a black hoodie before leaving, her long legs casually posed, her jet-black hair accentuating her slender, fair neck.
Her face held a cool, dangerous allure.
Fiona saw her immediately and felt an instinctual dislike for her looks. She was too strikingly beautiful, almost aggressively so.
When she got closer, the bodyguard said, "This is Cure-Master. You can explain the symptoms to her."
"Explain?" Fiona chuckled. "And what should I call you, little girl?"
She looked Rosalind up and down. Though she tried to restrain it, the disdain in her eyes was unmistakable.
She'd heard that Mr. Martinez had been delayed here because he'd met some supposed medical marvel.
Medical marvel? This slip of a girl couldn't be that old. Had she even graduated?
Look at what she's wearing, a plain old hoodie. Probably bought it off a street stall. It reeked of cheapness. Could she be a con artist?
Rosalind read the meaning on her face. Her gaze was as cold as ice, and she remained silent.
Hearing her twist things further and further, Fabian's head started to buzz with anger.
But she was a long-serving member of the Martinez household, having served the family for most of her life. There was nothing he could do.
Fiona looked smugly at Rosalind. "Since you're here, you can just wait. Our miss will see you after she's finished her meal."
Hearing this, Rosalind suddenly smiled. The curve of her eyes was devoid of warmth. Biting down on a piece of candy, she said playfully, "No need. From now on, I will no longer treat anyone from the Martinez family."
At her words, not only Fabian but also the bodyguard felt their legs go weak.
Fiona, however, sneered. "Little girl, who do you think you are? Doctors are lining up to treat the Martinez family. A country doctor from a small city dares to threaten us?"
