Rachel quickly said she understood and urged everyone to try the desserts, but she couldn't tear her eyes away from the noble young woman.
Just how rich must she be to live so extravagantly?
Her circle had money, too, but there were levels to wealth.
Take handbags, for instance. They might buy a few Hermes bags worth tens of thousands of dollars to rotate.
But this girl, with everything she ate and used, clearly never worried about the cost.
The young woman was now seated. It turned out the woman who had opened the door for her was just her housekeeper.
"Miss, what would you like to eat? I'll have them prepare it."
The young woman's voice was gentle. "Fiona, you should sit too. You don't always have to fuss over me."
"I couldn't possibly. My duty is to take care of you, Miss," the middle-aged housekeeper replied dutifully.
The girl seemed to give up, smiling softly as she was about to order.
Just then, a bodyguard approached, his brow slightly furrowed. "Miss, what are you doing here? Didn't you ask Mr. Lee to call a doctor for you?"
"Call a doctor?" The girl seemed confused, then, as if remembering something, she looked at her housekeeper. "Fiona?"
Fiona smiled calmly. "It's nothing, Miss. Your appetite hasn't been good lately, and I heard Sol has many famous doctors, so I called one to help you."
The girl sighed. "Alright, then."
She knew Fiona had other intentions and had called the doctor without her permission, but Fiona was family who had raised her since she was a child. She couldn't fault her for overstepping.
The bodyguard reported, "Miss, Mr. Lee and the others have arrived."
Fiona, arranging the silverware for the girl, said, "So they've arrived. Tell them to wait in the lobby lounge. The young miss will see them after her meal."
