Go Back and I Rule There novel Chapter 88

Rosalind didn’t notice this, her long, thick eyelashes hiding her expression.

It was Warner who looked away, his voice even hoarser. “How do you plan to run the clinic?”

“Still planning,” Rosalind said with a light laugh, lifting her head. The beauty mark near her eye was prominent. “Grandma’s dream is for everyone to afford medical care, so the kind of fame from yesterday isn’t suitable.”

Warner murmured his agreement. He had been planning to have David arrange for medical resources to be funneled to her.

But it seemed Cure-Master had her own very clear ideas and probably wouldn’t appreciate him interfering too much.

Rosalind appreciated his tactful approach. She raised her teacup and clinked it against his. “You can keep an eye on my progress.”

David thought to himself, Could Mr. Turner be any more focused on you? He’s practically living at your clinic!

Of course, he couldn’t say that out loud.

Mr. Turner wouldn’t even let them drive the Maybach into the alley, which showed just how much he cherished his “casual acquaintance” with Cure-Master.

Warner put down his teacup and, in a deliberate manner, got to the point of his visit. “I heard you don’t intend to treat Mr. Turner’s illness?”

“Him…” Rosalind suddenly raised an eyebrow and leaned closer. “Where did you hear that? I thought I was the only one who knew.”

She had turned down the Turner family over the phone this morning in a half-asleep state.

How did this man know?

Warner cupped his hand over his mouth and coughed lightly. “There are ways to find things out if one wants to.”

Rosalind supposed that was true. “After all, you are a Martinez.”

Warner didn’t answer, instead asking, “Why don’t you want to treat him?”
