Go Back and I Rule There novel Chapter 64

“Veritas Medical!”

Letitia looked at Rosalind, a smile in her eyes.

The announcement silenced the entire hall.

Everyone stared in disbelief. “Veritas Medical is first? How is that possible?”

Nathan’s face changed color. Grace couldn’t stop herself from snatching the paper. Written on it, clear as day, was Veritas Medical!

Yolanda’s smile vanished. How could this be? Did she actually know medicine?

In an instant, all eyes were on Rosalind, Theodore, and Boris.

Boris, a known failure in medicine, had never received this much attention in his life. He froze mid-yawn.

Theodore was in a daze. They… were first?

Only Rosalind remained calm and composed, her gaze serene.

Grace couldn’t bear losing to an unknown upstart in front of everyone. She clenched the paper in her hand and took a deep breath. “As a physician, I shouldn’t question the host, but this old woman is simply too curious. What was the judging criteria that allowed these three to win first place?”

With a Gonzalez speaking up, others felt bold enough to voice their doubts.

“Yes, how could the three of them possibly be first?”

“Boris fails his exams every year, and Theodore is a complete wash-out. What did they do to win?”

Letitia raised an eyebrow. “It seems you all don’t trust the judgment of the Turner family?”

“Ms. Turner, of course we trust the Turner family,” Nathan said, glancing at Rosalind. “But even the best systems have loopholes. Why don’t you share their diagnostic reasoning and let everyone judge who is more qualified to be number one.”

“Exactly!” George shouted the loudest.

Wayne, however, disapproved. “Nathan, don’t be a sore loser.”

“How are we being sore losers?” Nathan demanded, tapping the prescription from the Veritas Medical team. “Is ‘drink more warm water’ considered a medical treatment?”

The hall erupted in an uproar once more.
