Go Back and I Rule There novel Chapter 54

Hearing the word "forged," the guards exchanged a look, then said politely, "Miss, please present your invitation."

Sharp as she was, Rosalind had already sensed something was off with this invitation.

But she wasn't afraid. If worst came to worst, she could just reveal her identity as the Asclepian.

With a calm expression, Rosalind casually pulled the gold-stamped invitation from her black bag and handed it over.

As expected, the guards' faces changed dramatically.

This... this was!

Seeing the guards' expressions, people began to guess. "Could it be that there really is a problem with the invitation?"

Logan, seeing this, declared indignantly, "It's bad enough that Megan killed a patient, but now her student is a fraud. What a disgrace to our profession!"

Grace was also smiling, her voice laced with triumph. "Young lady, if you truly wanted to get in, you could have asked for help from your seniors. Resorting to such dishonest methods is really not the way."

"Yes, this is so embarrassing!"

"Is this how Megan teaches her students? I'm ashamed for her!"

Rosalind had no patience for this nonsense. She casually rolled her neck, a curve forming at the corners of her beautiful eyes. She was just about to pull up her Asclepian account.

Suddenly, the two guards before her bowed at a ninety-degree angle, their voices ringing out, "Please, come in!"

In an instant, the atmosphere froze.

The guards' action was like a silent slap, striking hard across Grace's face.

One of the guards was still speaking. "This is your first time at our estate. If there is anything you don't understand, I can provide a full tour and explanation. Please, follow me."

The other guard was still holding the invitation, his palm sweating.

The calligraphy on it was powerful, bold, and flowing.

Invitations today were common, yes.

Could it be him?

Rosalind's first thought was of her handsome patient.

It must have been him. With the Martinez family's connections, getting an invitation to a Turner Group event would be easy.

But for him to help her like this... Rosalind smiled. She would have to thank him properly when she got back.

"No changes needed. You're doing a great job." Rosalind bent slightly. "I'll just get my bag."

The guard insisted, "We can get that for you!"

Their fiery enthusiasm was a stark contrast to their earlier demeanor.

Everyone else was completely stunned.

The Turners were notoriously aloof, and even their guards were veterans from elite units. For them to be so deferential to a young girl seemed highly unusual.
