If ‘the Asclepian’ was no longer choosing the Gonzalez family in Sol, which family would receive their medical support now?
Filled with anticipation, the other prominent families became active, flooding Rosalind’s inbox with private messages.
Mr. Lopez’s message was the most conspicuous: “A brilliant move, boss! It's about time you partnered with someone else. This incredible opportunity has finally fallen to our Lopez family!”
Rosalind didn't reply to any of these messages.
After issuing the expulsion order, she put her phone away and continued her clinic.
No one would have guessed that the young woman sitting in a public square treating patients was the very person shaking the foundations of Sol’s medical world—the miracle doctor, ‘the Asclepian’!
At that moment, the doctor the old man had mentioned, Mrs. Gonzalez Sr., was in a private room at the Caesar Hotel, accepting a new disciple.
Although she had run into a reckless brat earlier, the Yates family’s eagerness to please had greatly soothed her mood.
At the dinner table, Rachel fawned over her. “Yolanda, quickly, present the tea to your master.”
Yolanda knelt gracefully, showing Mrs. Gonzalez Sr. the utmost respect. “Master, please have some tea.”
Mrs. Gonzalez Sr. looked pleased. “From now on, you are my, Grace Gonzalez’s, disciple. We can get you into any hospital you wish. I will personally make the arrangements.”
Rachel and Sean were overjoyed to hear this.
Just as everyone at the table was about to raise their glasses in celebration…
Suddenly, someone stumbled into the room!
“Mrs. Gonzalez Sr., this is… this is terrible!”
Mrs. Gonzalez Sr. frowned. “Stop panicking. Just say what you have to say.”
The man handed her his phone, struggling to speak. “The Cadogan Practice has blacklisted the Gonzalez family.”
“What?” Mrs. Gonzalez Sr.’s face turned deathly pale. Her hand trembled, and the scalding tea spilled out, making Yolanda flinch.
