Go Back and I Rule There novel Chapter 137

Yves still couldn't believe it, his hands were trembling as he adjusted his glasses.

If Sean knew her true identity, he would absolutely kick himself!

Yves finally understood why Mr. Woods would assign projects to a small company like the Yates Group. It was all because of her, the big boss!

Taking off his glasses, Yves stammered, "Boss, you…"

"It seems Yves recognizes me," Rosalind said with a smile, her eyes dark and deep.

Yves hurriedly explained, "I didn't know it was you at the Yates family villa. If I had known, I would have…"

"I didn't want anyone to know," Rosalind said, toying with the teacup in her hands. "You did the right thing."

Fitch was lost. "The Yates family villa? What about the Yates family villa?"

Yves looked down. "Mr. Bright, I'll explain later."

Fitch brushed the minor detail aside, his mind fixated on one thing. "Boss, let's go! Let's head back to Prax right now! Hahaha, I'm so happy! Once you're back in Prax, we're going to shake things up!"

"I can't go back just yet," Rosalind chuckled. "As you can see, my business is just getting started."

Fitch froze. You don't care about a massive corporation like Prax, but this shop…

"Then I'll stay here and help you with your business," Fitch declared, the most loyal and unquestioning of her followers. "Boss, you're planning to use this streaming gig to break into the online market, right? I knew it!"

Rosalind answered leisurely, "You're overthinking it. I'm just focusing on medicine."

Mrs. Yates Sr. smiled. "I know. But how do we discuss this investment? You've seen my shop—it's small, with a narrow storefront. Your boss looks like he's not to be trifled with. I've got one foot in the grave, so I'm not afraid, but my granddaughter here is a good, gentle girl. If something goes wrong with our partnership, how could we possibly stand up to your boss?"

Fitch thought he was hearing things. Good? Gentle? Their boss?!

Putting those words together to describe her was genuinely terrifying.

Fitch wished he had Yves' unassuming appearance as he lowered his posture. "Ma'am, please don't worry. I would never take advantage of this… this young lady!"

But Megan shook her head. "You're not acting normal. What kind of investor is this agreeable?"

She had a point. Fitch was practically throwing money at them.

Mrs. Yates Sr. pointed to a sign on the wall. "Even the public service announcements say there's no such thing as a free lunch!"
