Go Back and I Rule There novel Chapter 136

"Well, old man, you really tried to trick me, didn't you?"

The person who entered was none other than Fitch, laughing heartily, a smug look on his face.

Mr. Parker's hand trembled, and he ducked behind Rosalind.

Rosalind lifted her gaze slightly. Her eyes were placid, calm as still water, but her face was so stunningly beautiful it was almost jarring.

It was hard not to notice her. Fitch saw the young woman the moment he walked in, but he never connected her to his boss. He strode in with his bodyguards.

"Kid, are your parents home? I'm not feeling well, and I saw your stream online, so I thought I'd come take a look."

Fitch knew how to play the game.

Since the boss was living in a place like this, she clearly didn't want her identity exposed.

But after hearing his words, Rosalind's eyes curved upwards, a hint of cool amusement in them. "Kid? Sir?"

Fitch's smug expression vanished. He spun around abruptly.

That voice?! That tone?!

Rosalind bit down on a piece of fruit candy, her long hair framing her face, a slight smirk on her lips. "Mr. Bright, you have a short memory. You don't even recognize me anymore?"

In that instant, Fitch wanted to drop to his knees.

"I... uh..." Fitch wanted to call her 'Boss'.

But Rosalind silenced him with a single look.

Mr. Parker was still there, his eyes wide. "Rosalind, you know this bad guy?"

Rosalind, with her silver tongue, spun another tale. "Mr. Parker, take a closer look. Isn't he that big-shot businessman who was on TV recently?"

Mr. Parker's vision was blurry. He rubbed his eyes and looked at Fitch again. "Good heavens! It really is!"

He had seen him on his phone, the tycoon who was coming to invest in Sol! He had been following the news!

Inside the clinic, Fitch's face was a mixture of awe and shock. "Boss, I never would have imagined you were so young! And you're... you're so beautiful. Anyone would mistake you for the most popular girl at some art school. It's all that guy's fault, he was in contact with you and didn't even tell me!"

"I'm the one who told him not to tell you," Rosalind said faintly, handing a cup of tea to him and Yves.

Fitch looked aggrieved. "Well, Boss, you can't play favorites!"

The younger she looked, the more surreal it felt!

Yves was also in shock. He had seen this young woman before, at the Yates family's villa. What had Sean said back then?

"Oh, her? A fake daughter, not worth mentioning."

Yves hadn't forgotten the disdain in Sean's eyes when he spoke of her, nor how he had kicked her out of the Yates family on the day of the banquet.

Yves wouldn't meddle in such affairs, but he had thought Sean's actions were too cruel. The young woman, carrying her black bag with such a cold demeanor, had caught his eye for a moment.

And she was the mysterious, ultimate boss of their entire group?!
