Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1651

"Norah works at the Chambers family's company, as I've told you before," Janice spoke softly.

"I've met Adrian Chambers!" Catherine chuckled, "Handsome, quite and seems like a good match for our Norah."

Geoffrey Lamont nodded, "If you’re in a relationship with Adrian, then bring him home to meet us. The Chambers family has a good reputation. If they have intentions, it will be best for you two to get married sooner."

Before Norah could speak, the others began discussing her and Adrian as if it were a foregone conclusion.

She hurriedly interjected, "Hold on! Who said I'm with Adrian? I'm currently helping him out at his company, but it's not what you think!"

"Not with Adrian?" Janice exclaimed in surprise, "Then who is it?"

Norah almost blurted out the truth, but she caught herself in time, "It's no one. I'm not dating anyone, you're all jumping to conclusions."

"Really?" Janice remained skeptical.

"We're all family here, no need to hide anything!" Henson sneered dismissively.

"Hide what? I didn’t hide anything!" Norah shot Henson a glare, and then quickly stood up, "I'm going to the restroom, you guys go ahead."

With that, she hurriedly opened the door and left the room.

Once outside, Norah leaned against the wall, a guilty expression on her face.

It wasn't that she didn't want to tell them; it was more that she was afraid they’d find out the man she liked didn't feel the same way, and that would be incredibly embarrassing.

Once she won Xavier over, she would proudly introduce him to everyone as soon as she could!

But when would she be able to catch up with him?

Norah unlocked her phone. Her conversation with Xavier remained stalled at the message she had sent to him without receiving a reply.

As she stepped outside, her phone buzzed. Her expression soured when she saw the message was from Adrian, wishing her a happy Thanksgiving Day.

Norah stared at the man's back, her bright eyes shimmering with excitement. She couldn't help but smile, her heart bursting with happiness.

She took out the phone and send him another message, [What's more beautiful, the moon or me?]

As Norah observed Xavier, she saw him fixated on his phone screen and not moving for a while.

Trying to contain her excitement, she approached him from behind quietly, and covered his eyes with her hands.

Xavier reacted a bit slowly due to his earlier distraction. But when someone tried to cover his eyes, he instinctively reached for the wrist of the person behind him, ready to flip them over his shoulder.

However, as he tightened his grip on the girl's wrist, he heard her giggling in his ear, "So, what's more beautiful, the moon, or me?"

Xavier's grip on her wrist tightened, and he swiftly turned around.

In the dimly lit surroundings, with their closeness, Norah's charming and radiant face instantly met his gaze.
