She first gave Magdalen a call, who was driving at the moment. Upon answering, she immediately said, "Do you turn off your phone even when you're sleeping?"

"My battery ran out. What's up?" Estelle asked.

Magdalen chuckled, "Nothing much. Morrison Langston was going on a business trip to France and invited me along. I'm on my way to the airport now and didn't get a chance to say goodbye, so I thought I'd call to let you know."

Estelle laughed a bit, "Have fun!"

"Will do!" Magdalen responded cheerfully, "We'll continue our drinking spree when I get back."

"Sounds good!"

After hanging up, Estelle called Emily, who also briefed her about Magdalen and mentioned that she took Kya to the amusement park. Breakfast was in the kitchen.

After the two calls, Estelle left the elevator and saw through the glass doors that the Lamont family's car had arrived.

She got in the car, and her finger hovered over Jonathan's name in her contacts list.

Just as she was debating whether to call him, Manley suddenly rang her up, "Sweetie, are you up?"

"What time do you think it is?" Estelle snickered, "You're not still in bed, are you?"

"I'm having lunch!" Manley laughed, lowering his voice to sound more intimate, "Do you miss me?"

"I'm off to teach Henson, so if there's nothing else, I will hang up!" Estelle replied bluntly.

"Teaching at the Lamonts' again?" Manley sounded clearly displeased, "You two made up already?"

"I'm here to teach Henson. That's a separate matter from whatever's going on with Jonathan!"

"So you're saying you two haven't made up?" Manley laughed, "As long as you guys haven't made up, that's all I care. If I'm not doing well, Jonathan can't be either."

"Mhm, you too, try to be happy."

Manley said casually, "Don't worry, even if you throw me into the arctic pole, I'd be drinking with the penguins, carefree."

Estelle couldn't help but laugh but didn't bother to remind him that there were no penguins at the arctic pole.

After chatting with Manley, Estelle contemplated for a while but decided not to return Jonathan's call. He had called her last night to ask why she had called him.

She had been drunk last night and acted impulsively. But after sobering up, she couldn't remember what she wanted to tell him.

When she went to work on Monday, the first person Estelle saw as she entered the production office was Victor Brown.

Victor greeted her warmly, "Estelle."
