Divorce Failed My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 822

Inside the CEO's office at Orca Group, Andres White sat alone on his couch, staring intently at a small photograph in his hand.

He had found it tucked into the corner of the sofa just ten minutes ago.

Judging by the faded colors, the picture was quite old. It was small enough to fit inside a phone case.

He remembered that not too long ago, Maeve had come to his office carrying Loaded Chili Fries. She had sat in this exact spot and swapped out her phone. Andres never made a habit of touching her personal belongings. He only knew she had an older phone model wrapped in a rather ugly case.

This photo must have slipped out of that case.

He was certain of it because one of the people in the picture was Maeve.

She looked young, maybe fourteen or fifteen, with a trace of baby fat still lingering on her cheeks. She looked like a playful kid, getting a piggyback ride from a tall, handsome young man. She was throwing a goofy peace sign at the camera.

Her eyes were bright, her smile radiant. The pure, unadulterated happiness in her gaze was impossible to hide.

The young man was incredibly handsome. His eyes, in particular, reminded Andres of someone. Who was it? The bartender at Jasper Jett's nightclub? But compared to that bartender, the young man in the photo wasn't just tall and attractive; he possessed an innate, aristocratic elegance. There were some people in the world who, despite wearing ordinary clothes, naturally commanded the presence of royalty. The young man carrying Maeve belonged to that rare breed.

So who exactly was he?

In all the time Andres had known Maeve, he had never once seen her smile with such carefree joy. Happiness didn't need words. A single look could tell the whole story.

In that moment, Andres couldn't tell if he was more envious or jealous. He envied the young man for capturing Maeve's undivided attention, and he was fiercely jealous of the fact that this guy had shared such an intimate moment with her.
