A Second Life, A New Power novel Chapter 58

"I knew Mr. Hahn wasn't that kind," Maria muttered as she followed the cameraman to the other side. Before she left, she didn't forget to wave goodbye to Demi.

"Goodbye, Demi!" Wendy smiled and waved goodbye to Demi before leaving.

Demi also waved to them in return.

Afterward, Demi and Chad started searching for the herbs.

Like a radar, Demi scanned the area and quickly locked on where the herbs were without even needing to refer to the picture album.

However, the others, including Chad, were comparing the herbs to the depictions in the picture album with furrowed brows.

"Ms. Demi, don't you need to refer to the picture album?" Chad asked in curiosity when he saw Demi's basket was already filled while his basket was completely empty.

"I've already memorized them," Demi replied while continuing to search for the herbs on the ground.

"Huh?" Chad had a surprised expression, which was the same as the netizens watching the livestream.

Even Matt was equally surprised.

There were over a hundred types of herbs in the picture album. How could Demi memorize all of them?

The comments flooded the live chat.

"Does Demi have a photographic memory?"

"If it was me, I'd consider myself smart if I could memorize about ten of those similar-looking herbs."

"Is it possible that Demi only managed to remember ten types of herbs, and she coincidentally found those herbs?"

"I don't think so. I think she has already picked up more than ten types of herbs."

"That's a weed," Demi reminded Chad, who finally found his first herb.

"What? It looks the same as one of the herbs in the picture album!" Chad replied while comparing the weed to the picture album.

"If you're talking about thorowax wood on page 68, there's some by your left," Demi said while pointing toward Chad's left.

"Is it?" Chad moved toward the direction Demi pointed at while flipping to page 68 of the picture album.

He carefully compared the depiction to the herb on the ground before comparing it with the weed in his hand.
