Demi narrowed her eyes. In the next instant, Erika's leg suddenly slid forward into an involuntary split, sending her crashing to the floor.

"Seriously, Erika? You fall even when kicking someone?"

"Maybe we should skip to the main event. We're getting impatient back here."

The remaining two boys laughed as they helped Erika up.

Demi's expression turned glacial. She shot the boys a dismissive glance before fixing Erika with a mocking stare.

After wiping the dust from her pants, Erika looked up just in time to see Demi's derisive smile.

"How dare you laugh at me?" Erika lunged forward, her hand slicing through the air toward Demi's face with enough force to create an audible whoosh.

The slap landed squarely on one of the boys still holding Demi. The victim clutched his stinging cheek in shock before he lost his temper. "What the hell, Erika! Are you blind? How do you miss her and hit me?"

"My bad," Erika muttered awkwardly.

Demi couldn't suppress a chuckle.

"You think this is funny?" Erika raised her hand again.

A cold glint flashed in Demi's eyes. With barely a shrug, the two boys restraining her stumbled backward as if pushed by an invisible force.

Demi caught Erika's wrist in mid-swing. Her other hand connected with Erika's face in a blistering counterattack.

Erika shrieked in pain.

Demi lifted her hand again, and another stinging slap rocked Erika's head sideways.

Left and right, her palms rained down on Erika's delicate face. This was exactly how Erika had treated her in the past.
