A Second Life, A New Power novel Chapter 376

"Are those wolves?" The group froze in shock, their faces turning pale.

The howls echoed again, growing louder, and there was a faint sound of running footsteps. It sounded like more than one wolf was approaching.

The group jumped up in fear, instinctively pressing themselves against the walls.

But Demi remained sitting calmly, and the others, including Maria, frantically waved at her, urging her to move.

The security guards quickly drew out their tranquilizer guns, preparing for an attack.

"Oh my gosh! This is terrifying! Demi has really gone too far this time. She's being way too reckless!"

"I told you so! I knew this would happen!"

"If anyone gets hurt now, Demi might as well kiss her career goodbye."

"Even if no one gets hurt, I doubt she'll be able to stay in the entertainment industry after this!"

The barrage of comments online was filled with criticism, and some were clearly enjoying her downfall.

"Don't shoot them. We're the ones invading their space, so it's our fault. Don't worry. I'll talk to them," Demi said, turning to the security guards with a calm smile.

Before the staff could respond, Ana exploded with anger, her voice sharp, "Demi, stop acting like a fool! You're going to talk to wolves? Are you trying to get everyone killed?"

"Has Demi lost her mind? Does she think she's some kind of deity who's able to negotiate with wolves?"

"She must have read too many fantasy novels. Her brain's completely gone haywire."

"I always suspected Demi's actions had that 'cultivation novel' vibe to them."

"She probably thinks she's some sort of immortal or something."

"It looks like she's just a cringy, delusional teenager."

The comments were full of mockery and disdain.

"I didn't force anyone to come in, did I?" Demi shot a cold look at Ana.
