"Lies? Then let's get a paternity test right now!" Paul bellowed.
Rebecca suddenly stopped fighting. Clutching her face, she collapsed to the ground wailing. "After I bore you a son and daughter, this is how you repay me? You must have another woman! You're just looking for excuses to dump me!"
"Don't twist this around. We're getting divorced today! I'm done with your cheating ways. I might as well have been single—no one to wash my clothes, cook meals, or share my bed. Yet I still sent every penny I earned to you." Paul's face was streaked with bloody scratches, his breathing ragged.
"Did I even use the money? That money went to Erika and Larry," Rebecca screamed.
"Why should I pay for another man's daughter?" Paul's veins bulged as he shouted, his neck flushing crimson.
Rebecca opened her mouth to retort—when a choked sob cut through the noise.
Erika covered her mouth and fled through the crowd.
"Erika! Wait!" Rebecca scrambled up, stumbling after her daughter. As she pushed past, her eyes locked onto Demi in the crowd—filled with venomous hatred—before rushing away.
Meanwhile, Larry glared at Demi. "Happy now? Look what you've done to our family!"
All eyes turned to Demi, who smiled coolly. "I don't follow. Your actions got you expelled. How is that my fault?"
