After lunch, Demi, Charles, and his two lackeys returned to the high school campus. No sooner had they arrived than one of Charles' underlings came sprinting over, panting with excitement.

"Hot gossip! Rebecca's fighting someone at school!"

Charles' eyes lit up. "Lead the way."

So, Demi's group followed the messenger, hurrying toward the scene.

"They say it's her husband, who's also a teacher that works at a nearby town," the lackey reported as they walked.

They arrived to find a crowd of students gathered, shouts and screams ringing out from the center.

The moment the students spotted Charles, they immediately cleared a path.

Pushing through, Demi's group reached the inner circle.

There, a middle-aged man was yanking Rebecca's hair while slapping her repeatedly. "I've endured enough! You cheated right after we married. I worked myself sick to provide for you, and how did you repay me? Ran off to the city to enjoy life and took my children!"

"Paul Gomez, you liar! When did I cheat on you? I came here to teach so that our kids have a better future!" Rebecca shrieked, struggling wildly.

"Better future? I turned a blind eye to your affair with Sidney for the kids' sake! But you? You're still causing trouble everywhere, dragging them down with you!"

Paul landed another brutal slap on Rebecca as he spoke. His fury made it clear—this hatred had festered for years.
