A Second Life, A New Power novel Chapter 310

The next day, a group of boys swarmed around Demi as soon as she walked into the classroom.

"Demi, you're here!"

"Demi, I just bought this drink. You can have it."

"Demi, I wiped down your desk and chair. You can take a seat."

Demi took the drink, nodding in gratitude as she settled into her seat.

"Demi, that sword move you did the other day was so cool!"

"What do you mean 'sword move'? It's called sword dancing!"

"Oh, that's right… Sword dancing!"

"Demi, where did you learn martial arts?"

"Demi, what kind of martial arts do you know?"

"Let's spar someday, Demi."

The chatter was endless, a whirlwind of admiration and curiosity.

"Enough! All of you, get out of here. Class is about to start!" Charles bellowed.

The group reluctantly dispersed.

"You—" Charles was about to ask if Demi really knew martial arts but she cut him off.

"Did anyone mess with Timothy while I was gone?" Demi's gaze was sharp, unwavering.

Before she left, she'd asked Charles to keep an eye on Timothy.

"There was a little scuffle with another guy, but it got broken up before it got serious. I warned the person afterward," Charles explained.

"What started it?" Demi frowned.

"Timothy accidentally stepped on the guy's foot," Charles said.

"Oh..." Demi let out a small breath of relief. "No other issues?"

"None. I've got people keeping an eye out. Don't worry," Charles assured her.
