Charles didn't expect Derek to pick him up from school one day.

In the past, the latter rarely picked him up from kindergarten; it had always been the driver.

Meanwhile, Demi felt his gaze on her. After hearing what Kinley said, she noticed that the person staring at her was Charles' father.

She wondered if Charles' father heard about the rumors.

Then, while pretending nothing was wrong, she carried her backpack and left.

When she walked to the entrance, Derek asked cheerfully, "Are you Charles's tablemate, Demi? Charles is rather mischievous. Please help take care of him in the future."

Meanwhile, when Charles followed behind Demi and looked at his kindly father, he wanted to remind Derek about the wrinkles in the corner of his eyes whenever he smiled.

"Okay." Demi nodded.

Immediately, Derek was ecstatic.

Even Jacob couldn't control Charles' behavior in school.
