A Second Life, A New Power novel Chapter 219

"Are you sure you didn't say it? Though you said nothing in that short video, are you sure you didn't say anything after that?" Jacob questioned.

"Yes!" Ana nodded firmly.

"I can check the cameras and ask the students who were around you at that time." Jacob stared at her.

"I'm not afraid of that because I didn't say it!" Ana remained calm.

Jacob nodded. "Alright. You may remain in school for now."

As a principal, he couldn't malign others.

Meanwhile, Rowena and the others glared at Ana furiously. They became angrier once Jacob allowed the latter to stay!

"Alright. All of you may leave." Jacob waved his hands dismissively.

"Ms. Lindell…" Then, Rowena, Xendaya, and Seraphina looked at Luna pitifully.

Hesitating briefly, Luna looked at Jacob.

"Mr. Stronghold, they're still children. Perhaps they spoke without thinking," Luna said.

Jacob raised his hand and interrupted her, "Ms. Lindell, there have been many incidents in your class. This has caused me a lot of trouble. I'll tell you the truth; the school's stakeholders have also received the news.

"If I let them off this time and allow them to spread negative rumors here, I'll be fired! Naturally, you wouldn't be spared as well! Besides, I reminded them on Monday! However, they refused to listen to me and continued making mistakes.

"What could I do?"

As Luna looked at the indifferent and strict expression on Jacob's face, she realized the severity of the incident.

Sighing deeply, she looked at Ana and the others. "Alright. Follow me back. You have to face the consequences of your actions."

Suddenly, Rowena burst into tears. "Mr. Stronghold, can you let us off this time? We won't do it again!"

Seraphina and Xendaya cried as well.
