"Next is the International Program. Here, the academic levels vary—some excel, some perform averagely, and some struggle. But they all come from affluent families who don't rely on SAT scores to get into a prestigious college in order to shape their future. These students often head abroad after graduation.

That was exactly what Demi had in mind. "I want my brother in the gifted program," she said decisively.
