Back in Lindton, Demi was talking to Matt in the yard. He was telling her how her pay was going to be equal to George's.

"Isn't that a little too much?" she asked with her eyes widened in shock. After all, George was one of the top dogs in his field, and his pay ranked first in the whole entertainment industry.

In fact, Connor's pay couldn't even compare to George's for the time being, despite Connor being really popular.

"This isn't just my decision. The company and the CEO have decided on it as well. Since you saved Connor and Thomas, you basically saved the whole program crew and the company as well. So, we'll definitely have to make it up to you," Matt said with a grin.

"Alright. I'll take it as long as it doesn't trouble you. After all, who's going to complain about having more money?" she replied with a smile.

Demi had always wanted Margaret and Timothy to have a better life. She planned on buying them a bigger house and buying them many things. She even wanted to bring them out for vacations, but all of these required money.

With that thought in mind, Matt and Demi proceeded to discuss the details of the contract. Just as they were in the middle of their discussion, someone knocked on the door outside.

"Let me get it," Margaret said while getting up from her seat. When she opened the door, she realized it was an unfamiliar young man outside. It was Alex.

When Demi was brought to the Pitt family previously, only Stephen and Michelle came, and none of the Pitt siblings came. So, Margaret didn't know who Alex was.

"May I help you?" she asked hesitantly.

"You must be Demi's grandmother, right? I'm her brother, and I'm here to see her," he said with a smile.

"You're Demi's brother?" Margaret was stunned when she heard that, and a few questions came to her mind. Didn't Demi say she had nothing to do with the Pitts? Or was he not from the Pitt family and actually Demi's brother?

The man in front of her looked well-educated, and it was clear that he wasn't from any ordinary family. He even looked a little like Demi, so Margaret figured he really was Demi's family and that Demi could finally reunite with her actual parents.
