A moment later, Seamus returned to his senses and immediately took out a pill to feed Benedict with Sean.
"What's the point of the pill? If it's really that effective, there's no need for us doctors anymore." Victoria didn't look like she approved their decisions at all. "I still think my decision is better. Our doctors are all prepared, and they're all the best doctors we have. We can start operating on him right away."
Seamus hesitated for a moment, and he looked toward Felix and Sean. Sean looked helpless as well.
"We can't do that. Mr. West's body can't handle the operation at all. In fact, he might not even make it out of the surgery room alive." Felix said solemnly, "Let's wait a little while longer."
He was planning to let Demi take a look at Benedict first. If she couldn't do anything about it, they would contact Benedict's family and decide if they were going to approve the operation.
Even Benedict himself didn't agree with the operation. He hoped he could leave the world in peace instead of dying in the ICU after a series of torments.
Victoria was speechless when she heard Felix's words.
Suddenly, the door opened, and Demi rushed into the ward with two soldiers. Upon seeing her, Felix, Seamus, and Sean let out a breath of relief at the same time.
Meanwhile, Victoria was confused when she saw Demi. She didn't understand why there was a young lady there. Was she a family member of Benedict's?
Demi walked straight to the bed, and Seamus hurriedly stepped to the side. "Please take a look at him!"
Demi could know what was wrong with Benedict with Divine Sense. However, she still pretended to take his pulse.
Seeing what was happening, Victoria's eyes widened in shock, and she stammered while pointing at Demi, "Don't tell me that this young lady is the doctor who's going to treat Mr. West!"
"Dr. Hoss, I'll explain everything to you later." After Seamus gave Victoria a perfunctory answer, he turned to Demi.
"How is he?" Felix, Seamus, and Sean asked at the same time.
