A Second Life, A New Power novel Chapter 126

20 minutes later, George and Sam returned.

"Are you sure there'll be waves? The sea looks pretty calm to me." George carried the struggling fish with his jacket and looked at Demi, perplexed.

"I have a gut feeling." The latter looked at the fishes.

"Aren't you a poor swimmer? How would you know about this?" Meanwhile, Sam came out of the boat with his fish.

"Though I can't check it out, my instinct tells me that something dangerous will occur," Demi replied with a smile.

"Okay. We'll follow your instructions. We caught enough fish for everyone," George smiled arrogantly.

"Alright. Let's light the fire." Demi nodded.

Hearing that, everyone cheered.

Meanwhile, when Wendy received Demi's message, she looked at the sea. Though she couldn't see anything wrong, she didn't dare to ignore the text.

As she approached the staff, she said, "Demi just texted me and said there might be a storm later. Contact Connor and Thomas, as well as the staff filming them. Tell them to come back quickly."

There was a weak signal on the island. Since Wendy was worried that she couldn't contact them properly, she informed the staff instead.

As the staff members looked at the sea, they noticed that it looked calm.

However, given the accuracy of Demi's recent predictions, the staff didn't dare overlook her warning. So, they used their walkie-talkie to contact the staff on the speedboat.

After the staff received the news, they swiftly yelled at Connor and Thomas, "Mr. Bayer and Mr. Pitt, we should head back. Ms. Demi told us that a storm is approaching."

"But, we only caught four small fishes. We'll only have two of them if we give you two of them. It isn't enough," Thomas said.

"I don't think a storm will appear. The sea looks rather calm," Connor answered unsurely, looking at the sea glistening under the sunlight.
