Reporters surged forward, their voices overlapping as they tried to get Sabina’s attention.
“Sabina, is that really you in the photo?”
The face did look different at first glance, but if you looked closely, you could see it was the same person.
“I…” Sabina’s mind went completely blank. She never thought J would actually dig up a photo from before her surgery. How did she even find it? That was supposed to be impossible.
“No!” Sabina’s fingers curled tightly. She took two steps back, her voice rising a little too high. “That’s not me in the picture. Not at all.”
“There are plenty of pictures like that online,” she added, forcing herself to sound calm even though her heart was pounding like crazy. “How does one photo prove anything?”
The cameras panned back and forth between Charlotte and Sabina, everyone waiting for the next move.
Charlotte just lifted her eyes, a small smile playing on her lips. She spoke slowly, each word landing with purpose. “One photo isn’t enough, you’re right. That’s why I brought a whole collection.”
As soon as she finished, the big screen lit up again. This time, an album of photos played in a slideshow, each one lingering for a few seconds before fading into the next.
There were pictures of Sabina as a baby, a little girl, a teenager, all the way through to her consultation at a clinic and finally her surgery. Every photo was clear as day.
People online completely lost it.
[Sabina has a red mole under her earlobe, same as before. If that’s not her, I’ll eat my shoe!]
[Who did her surgery? That looks way too natural.]
