As soon as Ryan finished speaking, Steven's calm expression clouded over with anger. “Ryan, watch your mouth. I dare you to say another word of that nonsense.”
Steven's voice wasn't loud, but it carried a weight that made everyone who heard it shudder.
Before Ryan could reply, a stern, deep voice sounded from behind them.
“Such big words. I'd like to see what you can do.”
Uncle Julian leaned on his cane with both hands, his face grim as he stared at Steven.
Steven's expression didn't change. He bowed slightly. “Uncle Julian!”
“Stop,” Uncle Julian said, displeased. “I have no nephew by the name of Lancaster.”
“I don't care how you throw your weight around in the Lancaster family, but this is the Lopez family. You have no right to yell and shout here!”

During a pause in Uncle Julian's lecture, the security chief finally managed to interject, “Mr. Lopez, if there's nothing else, we'll be heading back!”
Uncle Julian shot him a look that froze the air. “Call the police,” he ordered. The chief looked uncertain. “Are you serious, sir? If we call the police, he'll most likely be taken into custody. That…”
