Go Back and I Rule There novel Chapter 97

"I don't care what methods you use. I don't want to see her in Sol ever again!"

Rachel slammed the phone down, her eyes filled with disgust.

She hadn't wanted to make things so ugly.

After all these years, you'd even grow attached to a dog.

But some people were like leeches you just couldn't shake off!

At that thought, Rachel seemed to remember something, took out her phone, and sent another message...

That night, by the time Rosalind returned home, it was already late.

She'd never paid much attention before, but the streetlights here were notoriously unreliable.

Tonight, as she entered the alley, several figures materialized behind her.

Rosalind, her black bag on her back, gave a slight, wry smile. A cool, bewitching glint appeared in her eyes.

But at the corner by the second streetlight, a man was standing. Tall and elegant, he exuded an air of nobility that seemed to make the very lamplight in the old stone alley serve as his backdrop.

It was her impossibly handsome patient.

What was he doing here?

Rosalind raised an eyebrow just as he adjusted the bracelet on his wrist and glanced at her, a smirk playing on his lips. "You go out for a bit and bring back a few annoying tails."

As he spoke, he let out a soft cough, his face pale and fragile.

Rosalind tilted her chin. "You should head back first."

If a fight broke out, she'd have to worry about protecting him.

But Warner didn't move. Instead, he fixed his gaze on the thugs emerging from the shadows, his eyes filled with an icy chill.

"Well, well, look what we have here. Playing the hero?" one of the thugs sneered.
