Go Back and I Rule There novel Chapter 72

“The culprit is extremely cunning, constantly switching virtual IPs. Each time, they appear in a different location. The only thing we could lock down was Sol, and that took our tech department three days to crack.”

Mr. Bishop’s brow furrowed. “As for the other one, we can’t find a trace of it.”

It was rare to see someone who could stump the Task Force like this.

The last time something similar had happened was three years ago.

Warner’s gaze returned from the window, his voice low and languid. “Perhaps you should try a different approach. Start with the Gonzalezes’ enemies.”

“Their enemies?” Mr. Bishop instantly understood. “Mr. Turner, are you suggesting this is a personal vendetta?”

Warner stood his ground, his gaze fixed downward. “So far, no organization has claimed responsibility. Appearing as an informant… it doesn't seem like the work of some random do-gooder.”

“True,” Mr. Bishop said, deep in thought. He called over a plainclothes officer from his team. “Investigate the Gonzalez family’s social connections, especially anyone they’ve had a conflict with recently.”

“Yes, sir.”

Warner’s voice was unhurried. “Actually, Mr. Bishop, there’s no need to rush.”

“What?” Mr. Bishop was confused.

Warner fastened his bracelet, his features sharp and clear, like snow under the bright moon. “This isn't over. Based on their methods, they will make another move.”

Another move?

Mr. Bishop’s heart skipped a beat, a sense of unease creeping over him…

After the Task Force had left, the door to the glass room opened.

Mr. Turner Sr. appeared in the doorway, his mustache bristling. “I knew you were involved in this, you rascal.”

“Nothing gets past your sharp eyes,” Warner said with a low chuckle, moving to help the old man.
