Go Back and I Rule There novel Chapter 70

Those higher up who hadn’t been exposed were now hiding even deeper.

Those who had were already in the custody of the Special Task Force.

This was why the Task Force had spent three full days planning before finally making their move at the Turner family’s private estate.

They had to bypass local protectionism and prevent any leaks. The Turner family's medical conference was undoubtedly the perfect opportunity to catch them all in one fell swoop.

The Task Force had acted so swiftly and suddenly that no one knew how they had discovered the Gonzalez family’s crimes.

Even more mysteriously, no one knew who had released the viral video—not even the Task Force itself was sure, and they were investigating it.

Inside the manor, the leader of the Task Force approached Mr. Turner Sr. “This was a sudden development. I apologize for the disturbance, Mr. Turner Sr.”

Mr. Turner Sr. smiled. “You are serving the people and have performed a great service. There is no disturbance to speak of.”

The lead officer shook his head. “I never imagined something like this could happen in a place like Sol. It’s a complete disregard for human life!”

Mr. Turner Sr.’s gaze swept over the prominent families in the hall. “It is indeed frightening to think about.”

The officer spoke with respect. “Sir, you are a man of great experience and accomplishment. Is there anything that could truly frighten you?”

“When doctors lack compassion, it becomes a nightmare for us, the patients’ families,” Mr. Turner Sr. said, his powerful presence undiminished.

The officer seemed to recall the Turner family’s young master and paused briefly. “Mr. Turner Sr., perhaps it’s best to postpone this conference. The situation in Sol is far from over.”

He spoke cryptically, his voice low.

But Mr. Turner Sr. understood, his expression unchanging.

The Special Task Force left as quickly as they had arrived.

Only after the officers were gone did the people in the hall dare to speak.

“The Gonzalezes are monsters!”

“The elderly, women, children! How could they deceive everyone? These are people’s lives we’re talking about!”
