Go Back and I Rule There novel Chapter 26

Mr. Lee didn’t dare to think any further. He was the one who brought her here, and besides, Cure-Master was the Martinez family’s savior. He couldn’t just watch her dig her own grave!

“She may not have the best grasp of language. Her choice of words can be a bit… lacking. Hahaha, haha…” Mr. Lee looked up at Warner, his expression pleading. “I’m sure you don’t mind.”

Warner replied with a quiet, noncommittal “Mm.”

Rosalind raised an eyebrow, confused. “Why are you so nervous, Mr. Lee? Was my description inaccurate?”

“Not at all,” Warner said, a sudden smile gracing his lips. It held a bewitching coolness that could make one forget all danger. “Your description was perfect.”

Rosalind’s eyes sparkled. “See? Good-looking people are always so articulate.”

With that, she turned back to the doctors who had returned to their positions.

They had all gone to fetch notebooks and phones, completely oblivious to the tense showdown that had just occurred.

They only heard her ask, “Is everyone here?”

“Yes!” the doctors chorused in unison, as if they were back in their internship days.

Rosalind’s right hand suddenly shot up and undid the top button of Warner’s shirt.

Warner frowned, the corner of his eye twitching, as if to say, ‘You didn’t mention undressing.’

Rosalind let out a low chuckle. Since her right hand was still holding his shirt, her breath was close enough to brush against his Adam’s apple.

“Today, I’ll also teach everyone an acupoint that can relieve coughing.”

As she spoke, Rosalind’s fingertips touched his neck, her eyes coolly professional, betraying no personal interest in him.

“When applying the needle, insert it within an inch.”

Rosalind continued to speak, her fingers moving from one point to another.

“Below here, one on each side.”

“The efficacy of acupuncture relies on the combination of needling technique and acupoint selection.”
