Even if she hadn't lent her the money, that livestream should be hers!
With that thought, Rachel stood up, no longer in the mood for a massage. Just then, Sean called, telling her to hurry home.
Sean was still lost in his grand delusions. As soon as he saw Rachel, he told her what had happened that day.
Rachel gritted her teeth, her heart filled with resentment. "I should have slashed her face when she left!"
Sean frowned. "I'm telling you this so you'll spend more time with my mother. If we make her happy, she'll surely get that girl to put in a good word for us."
"She's really not picky, is she? Seducing old men on her stream," Rachel said with contempt. "No wonder she got so many donations. It must have all come from this Mr. Bright."
That would explain everything. She hadn't actually believed the girl could make it in the world on medical skills alone. Ha.
Sean was impatient. "Enough. This isn't the time for that. Are you going to see my mother or not?"
Of course, Rachel wouldn't actually anger her husband. "Darling, I never said I wouldn't go." How else was she going to take over the stream?
"Then hurry up and bring a couple of gift bags." It was only at times like these that Sean remembered his own mother.
Just as they were preparing, Yolanda returned home. "Mom, Dad, where are you going?"
A maid came forward to take Yolanda's things, smiling. "Mr. and Mrs. Yates are going to visit the elder Mrs. Yates."
"To Grandma's?" A strange look flickered in Yolanda's eyes, but she quickly replaced it with a smile. "Dad, Mom, I'll go with you."
Rachel pulled her back. "Why would you go? Your grandmother has everything she needs, you don't have to worry."
