Go Back and I Rule There novel Chapter 120

Mr. Martinez leaned on his ornate cane. “They’re not easy to find. After that last operation, they now report to the highest level of command.”

“They’ve surfaced again in the last three months,” Fabian said, his voice low. “Word is, it’s an order from their leader—part official business, part personal.”

Mr. Martinez’s eyes glinted shrewdly. “You handle it. As long as you can find Rose, the Martinez family will pay any price.”

It was the yearning of a grandfather for his granddaughter, a hope that she would finally come home.

When Rosalind received the message, she raised an eyebrow.

The representative from Homp Group, Morgan Woods, was still speaking on the other end. “Ms. Martinez, are we helping them or not?”

Rosalind, still in the small alley and wearing a Bluetooth earpiece, gave a faint smile. “I was just warned not to do business with the Martinez family.”

Morgan scoffed. “Who would be that stupid?”

Rosalind swirled the teacup in her hand nonchalantly. “You’re in charge of The Obsidian Network now. If you want to take the job, take it.”

Morgan broke into a sweat. “Ms. Martinez, you founded The Obsidian Network. You’ll always be our boss. Even L is with you now, and he only listens to you.”

Rosalind glanced at Galeno. “He has a brain injury and can’t remember some things. But it’s fine, you can borrow him if you want.”

Morgan waved his hands frantically. “No, no, Ms. Martinez! He’s only well-behaved when he’s with you. My small operation couldn’t survive him tearing it apart.”

Rosalind just hummed in response and said no more.

Morgan asked tentatively, “Ms. Martinez, when are you coming back to Prax? The old crew is waiting for you.”

Rosalind set down her teacup and looked at the stream of people pouring into the clinic. “Soon.”

Morgan lowered his voice. “Did you start a livestream? Someone on our end saw it. You didn't show your face, but he thinks it's you and wants to go to Sol to bring you back.”

Rosalind sounded unconcerned. “Looks like my stream is doing well if you can see it all the way in Prax.”

The reporter finally understood and beamed. “You must be talking about the young master of Sol’s prominent medical family, the Woods. He is indeed brilliant, and I hear he’s only a sophomore in college. His future is incredibly bright.”

Fitch frowned. “Mr. Woods? Sorry, never heard of him.”

He was talking about his boss!

He didn't even know his boss' name yet!

Only that old fox Morgan knew, and he wouldn't tell!

He’d agreed to this interview specifically so his boss would see he had arrived and come find him.

Why were these people bringing up the Woods family?

What if his boss misunderstood!
