Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 954

Jason spotted Estelle stepping out of the building while sitting in his car. She was wearing a blue and white striped shirt dress. The design was simple and elegant, but it looked a bit playful and cute on her young face.

Two years had passed, and she seemed unchanged. But if you look closely, her slightly baby-faced cheeks had slimmed down, making her eyes appear larger and her features more refined.

Estelle quickly got into the car, smiled and said, "Let's go!"

Before Jason could say anything, Estelle's phone suddenly rang. He instinctively glanced at it and saw the caller ID was Manley.

Estelle picked up the call, explaining patiently.

"I'm going to a film preparatory meeting." "You don't need to come back, Jason will take me there."

"Yeah, just do your thing, no need to rush back."

Jason started the car and waited for Estelle to finish her call before asking, "Are you with Manley?"

Manley had once saved Estelle's life and was with her through a tough time. These past two years he'd even put his family business aside to accompany her everywhere.

If they had developed feelings for each other after spending so much time together, and Estelle had fallen for Manley, Jason wouldn't be surprised.

"No." Estelle shook her head, "We're just friends."

Jason looked ahead, smiled and said, "Do you really believe that? You think a guy would stick around like this just because he sees you as a friend?"

Estelle looked a little confused.

When she first met Manley, she never thought he would actually fall for her. The idea of a playboy like him genuinely falling in love with someone was just a fairy tale.

"Why don't you date then?" Estelle asked.

Jason casually replied, "I once loved someone very passionately. But now I'm past the age of being crazy in love, I'm just focusing on my career."

Estelle didn't know much about Jason's love life, so she asked, "What about the person in your heart? Why didn't you end up together?"

Jason closed his eyes for a moment, and then spoke with a hint of regret and self-mockery, "Because she didn't love me."

Estelle was taken aback, and then burst into laughter, looking out the window she said, "Then she must have a problem with her eyesight."

"Exactly." Jason nodded in agreement.

They chatted idly and soon arrived at the hotel. They got out of the car and headed towards the banquet hall on the first floor.
