Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 765

Jonathan immediately and followed her, draping clothes over her and walking into the building with his arm around her.

They went all the way upstairs, opened the door, and Jonathan let go of her to hang up their clothes. Estelle had been leaning on him, and as soon as he turned away, she wobbled a bit.

Jonathan quickly turned back and caught her arm, holding her tightly in his arms.

The room was dark, and the two of them just held each other tightly, not moving for a long time. In the quiet darkness, all that could be heard was their gentle breathing.

After a while, Jonathan gently lowered his head, kissing her eyebrows and the corners of her eyes tentatively.

Feeling no resistance from her, his kisses grew more passionate. He grabbed her chin and kissed her lips forcefully.

Estelle wrapped her arms around his waist, responding to his kisses.

However, she caught a whiff of cigarette smoke, and it sobered her up. When she and Mr. Mayfield had gone into the private room, Yvonne had been lighting his cigarette, but he hadn't been smoking yet, so where did the smell of smoke on his breath come from?

It turned out Yvonne was right; he had only quit smoking for her, but he didn't really like doing it. Without her presence, he would still smoke.

Her passion vanished instantly. Estelle pushed Jonathan away and turned her head to the side.

Jonathan still held her waist and said, "Estelle, I promise to keep my distance from Yvonne!"

Estelle shook her head, looking at him calmly, "Jonathan, you can keep smoking. Don't quit for me."

Actually, she had never asked him to quit smoking. It started as a joke when she said she wouldn't eat ice cream if he didn't smoke. She never thought that such a lighthearted agreement would turn into a long-term constraint for both of them.

He continued, "Today, I did smoke. I was outside your private room at the time. I missed you so much, imagining you inside and wondering what your expression would be if you knew I was smoking outside. I admit I wanted to surprise you, so I chose this way!"

Estelle said, "Jonathan, I'll try not to indulge in cold food. But you don't have to quit smoking anymore. When you want to smoke, just go for it."

Jonathan shook his head and said, "I never told you, but quitting for you is actually for my own happiness. Whenever I want to smoke, I think of you and the fact that I quit for you, and it gives me an indescribable satisfaction, you know?"

Estelle didn't quite understand.

Jonathan looked at her puzzled expression, smiled, and hugged her, saying, "All you need to know is that everything I do is because of the joy it brings me. I know how to handle our 'differences,' so just trust me!"

Estelle sighed softly, burying her head in his chest and muffledly saying, "Even though we're lovers, some things are universal. If one day you no longer like me and want to try other women, you must tell me honestly. Let's not constrain each other and make each other unhappy."
