Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 759

Jonathan mulled over it for a moment and said, "My feelings on the matter aren't really important. We're pretty much married already, but if she wants the whole wedding, I'm game. I will do anything to make her happy."

He was game for putting their relationship out in the open, no more sneaking around. If getting hitched would make Estelle happy, he was all in. He knew most women craved the security that marriage promised.

Charlie grinned, and after mulling it over, he said, "I don't think Estelle is the type to breathe down your neck about getting married."

Jonathan took a drag from his cigarette and replied, "She's brought it up twice already."

Charlie raised an eyebrow but said no more.

The two of them chatted for a while longer until Jonathan had finished his smoke and they headed back to the private room.

In the next private room over, Mr. Mayfield's assistant came over and whispered something in his ear.

Mr. Mayfield's expression shifted slightly. He beckoned the movie's producer and assistant director over before standing up to leave.

The film crew had booked several tables and as Mr. Mayfield walked past Estelle's table, he made a gesture to her and said, "Estelle, step outside with me for a moment."

Gwen elbowed Estelle excitedly and said, "Go on, Mr. Mayfield wants to give you a red envelope!"

Estelle was speechless. Gwen always had her mind on money.

Estelle followed Mr. Mayfield outside. Once they were out of the room, he said, "Mr. Lamont is here, in the next private room. Let's go and have a toast with him."

Mr. Mayfield wasn't entirely sure about the relationship between Jonathan and Estelle, but he had his suspicions.

Jonathan had previously blacklisted Hattie for Estelle and he often visited the set. So Mr. Mayfield suspected that Jonathan might be pursuing her.

So, he wanted to have a toast with him and specifically invited Estelle along.

Estelle was taken aback.

Jonathan was here?

And he hadn't told her!

"Josiah!" Yvonne scolded, smiling, "It's been a while since we've seen Jonathan smoke. Do you want to see him break his rule? I'll light him up!"

She spoke while glancing at Josiah, cautioning him not to push his luck.

Josiah finally caved and said, "Alright, light him up."

Yvonne took a cigarette from the pack next to Carson and handed it to Jonathan, whispering, "Please indulge me this little request."

Jonathan hesitated for a moment and then accepted the cigarette, placing it in his mouth.

Yvonne pulled out a lighter and moved it closer to him to light his cigarette.

She was probably a little nervous. Her fingers trembled slightly, and despite several tries, she couldn't light it.

Jonathan moved closer to make it easier for her.

Right at that moment, Mr. Mayfield and a few others knocked and entered the private room. Andrew opened the door, Mr. Mayfield came in, nodded with a smile, and looking towards the main seat, he said softly, "Mr. Lamont, sorry to interrupt!"
