Josiah poured her some hot milk and apologized with a smile, "Did I drink too much last night? Yvonne was in a bad mood, so I drank a few more with her."

"Well, that's good!" Josiah breathed a sigh of relief, then tilted his head and asked, "Did you go on a date with Hushhush last night? When did you get back?"
