Estelle noticed Emily's nervousness and poured her a glass of orange juice, "It's a bit hot in the room, drink some orange juice will make you feel better."

Emily barely nodded, her hand holding the glass quickly breaking out in sweat.

Probably because she was too nervous, her stomach felt uneasy and she felt like throwing up.

She took a sip of the juice and heard Carson talking on the phone, "Charlie, why aren't you here yet? We're waiting for you!"

Emily immediately straightened her back and looked at Carson.

Whatever Charlie said on the phone, Carson took a drag of his cigarette and laughed, "Alright, hurry up, we're waiting for you!"

Emily's heart raced, and she hadn't even met Charlie yet, but she was already nervous to the point of her head going pale.

Seeing Estelle's calm eyes, Emily felt

calmer, "Yeah." As they chatted for a while, Emily heard the door opening and turned her head, her heart pounding.

Everyone happily surrounded Charlie and Cynia, while Emily still stood there, like a statue.

Estelle walked over, squeezed Emily's hand, feeling her icy palm, and asked worriedly, "Emily?"

Emily snapped back to reality, her lips pale, and whispered, "I'm fine!"

Estelle led her to the lounge area, "Let's sit for a while."

She didn't expect Charlie to have a new girlfriend so soon, and they were getting engaged!
