The next morning, on the way to work, Charlie received a call from his assistant.

"Mr. James, Ms. Sullivan's mother is preparing to renovate her newly bought house. There's no other issues."

Charlie squinted, "I got it."

After hanging up, Charlie sneered and looked out of the car window.

Renovating a house?

Yeah, renovating a house did require money. She's such a good daughter. In order to help her brother renovate his house, she sold him to Noreen!

Estelle was very busy all morning. Mr. Mayfield's filming was not going smoothly. Nanette demanded various additional scenes, but her acting was messy and she couldn't achieve the effect she wanted. This annoyed Mr. Mayfield and he threw the script several times.

Craig came over to gossip with Estelle and snickered, "She wanted to add a few cool spy-catching scenes, but she didn't want you to be her stunt double. She insisted on hanging on the wire herself, but her jumping-off-the-wall pose was like a child, making Mr. Mayfield so furious!"

Estelle looked back, "Can't Mr. Mayfield reject her unreasonable requests?"

"Apparently Nanette's backer personally called Mr. Mayfield." Craig lowered his voice, "Mr. Mayfield can't say no!"

Estelle raised her eyebrows but said nothing.

After lunch, Estelle sat on a bench playing games during the break.

One of Nanette's assistants came over, arrogantly instructing Estelle, "Stop playing games! Nanette wants coffee, go buy it now!"

Manley, dressed in a white casual outfit with a handsome face, walked slowly over with a slight smile, "Mr. Lamont! Here to visit someone?"

Jonathan responded coldly, walking forward.

Manley sneered, "With Estelle, but visiting Yvonne, does Estelle know?"

Upon hearing his reference to Estelle, Jonathan felt a wave of nausea and furrowed his brow. "Estelle doesn't want to have anything to do with you, does Mr. Scott know that?"

"Estelle is just confused. Sooner or later she'll know who really cares about her!" Manley squinted with a smile.

Jonathan scoffed and strode forward.

Both men stopped as they walked through the corridor, hearing Nanette's angry rant coming from the yard, "Estelle, I'm telling you, if you refuse to be my assistant, I'll kick you out of the crew!"

Jonathan and Manley both stopped and looked into the yard.
