Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 660

When Emily came out of the restaurant, it was pitch black and the rain was relentless, dropping on her body, bone-chillingly cold.

Emily didn't have an umbrella or take a car, so she just walked back in the rain.

The streets were filled with hurried pedestrians and traffic, but everyone had their own struggles, and nobody cared why someone else was standing in the rain.

Emily's face turned pale from the rain, her eyes were dazed, like a lifeless doll.

With Nora Frey's situation, Crystal forced her to sign a forgiveness letter with the Frey family, as if not signing would make her a sinner in the Sullivan family!

Now, Noreen is pressuring her to betray Charlie, and if she doesn't... she's indirectly killing her own mother!

Why does she have to take on everything by herself?

What did she do wrong? Why does it always push her to the edge?

Half a million?

How is she going to get her hands on that much money?!

If she could sell herself for half a million, she would do it without hesitation to save her mom, rather than betraying Charlie!

But Noreen was right, she wasn't worth it, she wasn't worth half a million!

Why does life keep messing with her like this?!

Emily had no idea how she got back to the Royal Mansion. Standing in the bathroom, when hot water poured down, she slid down the wall and couldn't help but burst into tears.

After being soaked in the rain for hours and weeping for a long time, Emily came down with a fever the next day.

When Estelle arrived, Emily was pale and terrified but refused to go to the hospital.

After Estelle left, Emily lay in bed, feeling dazed and feverish. She thought about Charlie and Noreen but ended up with a splitting headache, so she stopped thinking, closed her eyes, and slept.

When she was sleeping heavily, she heard the phone ring. With great effort, she opened her eyes, picked up the phone, and saw a strange number.

"Hello?"

"Is this Emily Sullivan? I'm your mother's coworker. She fainted at work, and we brought her to the hospital. You need to come over."

Emily instantly snapped out of her drowsiness, threw off the covers, and got out of bed, "How's my mom? Which hospital? I'll be right there!"

"At the hospital near the restaurant outside."

The person on the phone gave Emily the address and urged her to rush.

Emily changed her clothes and ran out in a panic, her hands trembling as she pressed the elevator button.
